Jervis Bay

Hey!

oh wow it’s been such a long time since my lost post & I apologize for that. I’m trying to do better from now on!

So but now to my roadtrip to Jervis Bay with Martha. I told you in my last post about my Farmwork in the Southern Highlands & from there it’s only a 1 hour drive south to Jervis Bay. After 2 1/2 months of working literally everyday we had we had 5 days off so we decided to drive down after our weekend in Sydney. Our first destination was called ‘Huskinsson’. A beautiful little town in the Jervis Bay area. We parked our car & walked along the most beautiful beaches for at least 3 hours until we came to the famous ‘Whitehaven Beach’, it’s the whitest sand beach in the world. It was winter but definitely warm enough for a swim in the clearest & most beautiful water you can imagine. After our little hitchhiking back to our car, we found a sweet little Italian restaurant where we had dinner before looking for a place to stay. Since we decided to sleep in the car for one night we found like a “no through road” road where we could stay, made our “bed” & fell asleep pretty fast.

The next morning we woke up with a beautiful sunrise over the sea & to singing birds. We got ourselves ready & drove to our next destination. Where we just walked around, watched the waves crashing against the rocks & found more beautiful hidden beaches. Since we had to work at 5pm we drove back to the Highlands. But we had the most amazing time down in Jervis Bay & if you have the chance go & visit! It’s one beautiful white beach after the other & not as much Tourists like in other places here in Australia. It’s definitely worth a visit! To prove it, here some pictures & a little video which I filmed with my GoPro.

& here my ‘Travel Video’ hope you enjoy it!
